About Me

Sitting in nature practicing grounding strategies and mindfulness

Sarita Chadda, OT Reg. (Ont.), Psychotherapist

The Roots

My work is born from a blend of professional expertise and a deep appreciation for the lived experience of ADHD. I understand that navigating a world built for neurotypical brains requires more than just advice-it requires a partner who understands the nuance of how you move through your day.

A Landscape of Experience

Over the course of twenty years as an Occupational Therapist, my practice has naturally evolved toward a dedicated focus on the intersection between the nervous system, the brain, and the reality of daily life. While my foundation is clinical, my approach is human. I have integrated evidence-based psychotherapy with functional support to ensure that our work honors your inner emotional world while building the momentum you need to fully engage in what matters to you.

Honoring the Layers

As a South-Asian clinician, I have a firsthand understanding of the invisible weight of cultural expectations. For many from diverse backgrounds, ADHD is about so much more than attention- it impacts how one views their identity and their place in the world. It is often layered with deep-seated shame, the pressure to achieve, and the feeling that you 'should' be coping better than you are. I provide a safe, inclusive space where these complexities are fully recognized, not just explained, allowing you to untangle your self-worth from productivity.

A Place to Land

I strive to create an environment where you can finally stop "masking" and start exploring. My practice is grounded in curiosity and collaboration. Whether we are addressing the impact of ADHD on your relationships, your career, or your self-perception, we do so with a steady respect for the way you are designed to function.
